JOB SUMMARY:
Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at- risk youth.
The School Counselor provides clinical intervention and support to consumers at the school site to ensure stability. The School Counselor collaborates with the caregivers and school personnel on a regular basis attending IEP meetings and following the IEP plan of care.
STARTING PAY RANGE:
$68,000 - $73,100 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)

EDUCATION:
- Masters’ Degree in related field required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered MFT, MSW, APCC or Psy. D/Ph. D Intern in California
- Must have a valid intern number registered with the state and in good standing.
- Must maintain valid intern number, registration and good standing with the state as a condition of employment.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all trainings required by the Agency, federal, stat and/or local regulations.
- Ability to use a personal car with appropriate insurance for Agency business and adhering to federal, state and local motor vehicle safety standards when transporting children.
- Fluent in English required.
