Duties:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in a variety of settings, including catering events, and more.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and assembling dishes.
- Set up and break down food stations.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
- Operate cash registers or POS systems to process payments from customers.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
