Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Scientist to join our Oncology team, dedicated to pioneer the discovery and development of a new class of targeted antibody-based receptor protein degrader to treat a broad range of solid tumor cancers. This individual will work in cross-functional teams to identify and develop novel therapies to treat targeted patient papulations within multiple oncology indications. She/he will lead efforts in developing cutting edge tools and methodologies, leveraging our cutting-edge bispecific antibody platform. The role requires a blend of expertise in cell and cancer biology, and a passion for research to drive our mission of delivering breakthrough therapies to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Independently design, develop, and validate novel cell and cancer biology assays/methodologies to develop complex strategies and enable the advancement of Company objectives.
· Conduct in-depth in vitro and ex-vivo assays to understand mechanisms of action and identify biomarkers.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into the broader research and development strategy.
· Stay abreast of latest scientific advancements in cell and cancer biology and contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.
Qualifications:
· A Ph.D. in Cell and Cancer Biology or equivalent with 5 + years of relevant experience is required.
· Proven expertise in cell and cancer biology, particularly receptor signaling, cancer metabolism, and protein trafficking in cancer models as well as hands on experience in the identification of key molecules in pathways of interest using knock-out/knock-down library, IP-MS, RNAseq, IHC, western blotting, flow cytometry (over 10 channels), imaging, molecular biology and other techniques.
· Demonstrated ability to work with in vivo models of human cancers.
· Strong background in cell and cancer biology with a focus on mechanisms involved in cancer cell signaling and cell fate.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of scientific innovation and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Experience in biomarker discovery to select appropriate in vivo models and explore platform-synergistic drug combinations is a plus.
· Experience in large data analysis is a plus.
