Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heating and Air Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of boilers is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on heating and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Installation: Install and commission new heating and cooling equipment, ensuring proper functioning and efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues with HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Maintenance inspection: Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problems
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
Installation: Install new HVAC systems and equipment as needed
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment serviced, parts used, and time spent on each job. ( Smart phone I pad knowledge is a plus)
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heating and Air Service Technician, with a proven track record of successfully servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Certifications: Hold relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA 608, NATE, etc.).
Boiler Knowledge: Knowledge of boilers and experience working with them is a plus.
Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete larger projects.
Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
