Lithos Energy designs and builds advanced lithium-ion battery packs from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive, marine and aerospace applications. We build the things we design and manufacture in-house, in California. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be taking on a critical technical role on the battery manufacturing engineering team. We are seeking a hands-on lead for our prismatic product. This is a great opportunity to have a huge impact contributing to new products and creation of production lines. An ideal candidate would have experience at multiple phases of a company from small to large and rely on that experience to develop systems appropriate for Lithos.
- Lead DFM efforts with the product design team.
- Develop process flows and required equipment lists.
- Manage project list and schedule
- Design fixtures and small equipment.
- Program equipment such as adhesive dispense for new applications.
- Manage technicians to build all manner of factory devices.
- Engineering degree
- 3+ years experience
- Demonstrated excellence in a related discipline.
- Experience working in an NPI environment
- Experience providing DFM feedback on new products.
- Experience designing small equipment & fixtures.
- Hands on, action oriented.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in battery manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience deploying new production lines. Pilot or high volume.
Experience with at least one of the following: adhesive dispensing, laser welding, wire bonding, electrical testing, automated fastening, PLC.
Salary - 135-165K + Equity + Benefits - Dependent on experience
