We are seeking a PRN - PET/CT Technologist who delights in providing outstanding care to all patients with a Can-do Attitude and Caring Heart, all while performing high quality PET/CT exams.
Position will be in Broward County Florida. Exact cities will depend on where the need is.

What you'll do:
- Take pride in performing high quality PET/CT exams while ensuring ALARA principles are followed
- Follow safety, environmental and infection control guidelines
- Effectively perform daily QA on equipment that adhere to quality assurance guidelines
- Perform effective diagnostic exams on patients as prescribed by the referring physician and per policy/procedure manual
- Assays and administers proper radiopharmaceutical under the direct supervision of the Medical Director
- Obtain patient history in accordance with exam being performed, paying attention to those things that make the patient unique
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- With professionalism, show genuine care and compassion to all patients, while ensuring patient confidentiality
- Listen deeply and immediately addresses concerns of all patients and be proactive in communicating with the Chief Technologist and/or Reading Radiologist
- Make quality personal by projecting a positive image by adhering to PIISF personal appearance guidelines
- Timely report mechanical malfunctions and supply shortages to Chief Technologist and/or Practice Relations Manager
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Must successfully pass drug and AHCA Level 2 screenings
- Must be approved for EPIC access by Memorial Health System
- Must embody our Team Norms
- Must have flexibility to travel between all our Centers and be willing to work at any one for extended periods at Management’s sole discretion
- Must have current ARRT or NMTCB Certification
- Must have current State of Florida Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- Must have current BLS/CPR Certification
- Should have PET/CT experience (preferred)
- Must have proven competency in venipuncture
- Must be flexible to cover vacation and sick leave, as needed
Skills and abilities:
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to work in a team environment
- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
- Computer literacy, particularly with EMR programs and Microsoft Office programs
- Reliability
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple patients and daily tasks
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
