This is a Part Time work from home position that requires the applicant to work/reside within the state of Utah.
Pay is $21-23.28 per hour. This will be a 25 hour per week position.
GENERAL PURPOSE
This work-from-home position undertakes technical support duties related to content creation, graphic design, and digital communications on a part-time basis. Responsibilities include generating written content for various platforms, producing engaging multimedia content, assisting with social media presence, and assisting with public relations efforts.

Reports to the Communications Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create visually appealing digital content for digital newsletters, websites, and other communication media.
Produce visually appealing videos and photographs to inform the public and promote City events.
Develop compelling social media content and assist with the management of social media channels.
Assist department by responding to resident questions on social media.
Design banners, flyers, and web content using Adobe Creative Suite.
Assist with enhancing the City website by updating content on a regular basis to remain current.
Support community events and ensure consistency in branding across departments.
Assist with the management of digital archives.
Be present in Eagle Mountain to obtain video and photography needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree, or currently working to obtain a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in public relations, advertising, graphic design, marketing, mass communications, journalism or related field.

One (1) year of experience in graphic design, marketing, public relations, or related roles.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with video editing software preferred.

Understanding of news media, journalism, public relations, and media relations.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software.

Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment: The role primarily operates in an office setting with standard climate controls. Physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, and reaching. Continuous talking, hearing, and seeing are required. Mental application involves memory retention, verbal instructions, and creative problem-solving. Occasional travel may be required.
