POSITION SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). This includes conducting evaluations, assessments, analyzing data, writing reports, and determining the strengths and areas of concern or need for language skill development to assist students in accessing their educational program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs or review screenings and assessments, including school or classroom- based screenings.
- Develop and monitor IEP goals based on students’ needs
- Schedule and provide individual sessions with student as assigned in IEP
- Use results of screenings and assessments to inform treatment approaches and recommendations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other team meetings as requested
- Differentiate between communication disorders and differences, utilizing best practices.
- Identify speech-language impairments and evaluate need for school-based speech language therapy.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for individual students.
- Provides services in alignment with students needs and research-based practices.
- Implement individualized positive behavior plans.
- Comply with federal, state, and organizational requirements for service delivery.
- Adhere to Attain ABA and school established timelines relating to all required documentation
- Provide consultation to IEP team regarding language/ literacy instruction and communication needs.
- Participate in ongoing supervision with clinical supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited university with a Master’s degree.
- Speech Language Pathologist license in state of employment.
- Must be School Certified in state of employment.
- Must have current, valid driver’s license in state of residence, and acceptable driving record.
- Must adhere to and complete all requested ongoing CEUs, training, and certification renewals.
