We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a DSP, you will work closely with individuals in their homes and within the community, providing support to enhance their overall quality of life. The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence by engaging in various activities and tasks.
- Accompany individuals to various community outings, such as shopping, movies, walks/hikes, and recreational activities (e.g., bowling, skating, museum tours, aquarium/zoo visits).
- Facilitate participation in arts, cooking, and skill classes to encourage personal development.
- Assist with organizing and cleaning individuals' homes to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Collaborate with individuals to develop and maintain a shopping list, and assist with meal prepping as needed.
- Provide one-on-one support tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes socialization and community engagement.
- Support individuals in developing and enhancing daily living skills to promote independence.
- Identify and implement opportunities for skill-building activities and experiences.
- Maintain open and effective communication with individuals, their families, and other team members.
- Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, achievements, and any incidents as required.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Valid driver’s license (unless working overnight shift)
- Successful background clearance
- Able to work every other weekend/holiday
- If applicants doesn't have driver's license and the bus is their form of transportation, individual MUST be willing to walk from bus stop to residence upwards of a half mile
Schedule:
- Full or part time available
- Flexible schedule options
- Days (7am-3pm, 9am-7pm)
- Evenings (3pm - 10/11pm)
- Overnights (10/11 pm - 7am)
