We are looking for an Investment Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our operational process through maintaining our portfolio accounting software and performing position & cash reconciliation in support of our investment team. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain portfolio accounting software – Advent Axys.
- Daily position and cash reconciliation to custodians.
- Resolving daily exceptions that arise from automated trade file processes.
- Performing pricing functions for securities and private funds across portfolio positions.
- Trade reconciliation and record keeping.
- Coordinate opening and closing of new or terminated accounts.
- Maintain operational process documentation and improve processes.
- Perform timely and accurate reconciliations to support performance calculation and reporting.
- Security master setups and asset data maintenance.
- Ensure established daily performance measurement, processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely.
- Perform Monthly closings.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and client data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Special projects as required.
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of industry experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Advent AXYS, Advent APX, Advent Black Diamond, Intelliflo Redblack, Morningstar Office, Bloomberg, OMS a plus
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
