D.C. Everest is looking for a Long Term School Nurse for the 2024-2025 school year.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversees all building Health Assistants district-wide.
- Trains staff on Emergency Medical Administration.
- Communicates with other School Nurses on current health issues.
- Ensures that student health care needs are met.
- Adheres to professional performance standards.
- Communicates with families and health providers regarding student medical concerns and conditions to create and maintain student health plans.
- Oversees and communicates with Marathon County Health regarding Health Screenings.
- Communicates with Marathon County Health regarding management of communicable disease protocols.
- Creates and maintains District Policies, Procedures, and Protocols for health situations and services for our students.
- Communicates with local consulting physicians regarding Policies, Procedures, and Protocols.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT IT TAKES:
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Public health, pediatric, or school nursing experience preferred.
- Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE:
- $30-$34 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
- Full time or part time hours depending on availability.
- There are no benefits with this position.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
