Rebirth & Renewal Family Resource Center is seeking Clinical Therapists committed and dedicated to making a difference in our community by helping to improve the lives of our community’s underserved populations. Rebirth & Renewal is a licensed AODE Behavioral Health Center that provides support to individuals and families by way of individual therapy, couples therapy, Group therapy, IOP, Targeted Case Management, Peer Support, and Community Support Associates. Interested applicants will be compassionate and work well within a team, as well as having an interest in providing competent and trauma informed professional services to our clients.
Rebirth & Renewal provides Mental Health services to adults with severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders. The clinical therapist will complete a psycho-social assessment to identify the needs, barriers, and goals of the client to develop an individualized person-centered treatment plan. The Clinical therapist will collaborate with the treatment team.
The Clinical Group Facilitator is a contract position with a flexible schedule and access to office space if needed. The Clinical Group Facilitaor participates in monthly agency staff meetings, monthly clinical supervision meeting, as well as treatment team meetings. The ideal Clinical Therapist will hold a professional license or certification in the state of Kentucky (e.g. LCSW, LPCC, CSW, LPCA, LMFTA, LMFT, LPATA, LPA, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clinical groups such as grief, anger management, Parenting, and Self-care.
- Manages and coordinates the clinical groups program
- Develops class schedule and creates a class calendar for clincial groups
- Maintains and completes service documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, and treatment planning, according to prescribed standards
- Complete assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plan for clients
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client's specific needs and goals
- Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment process and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Performs clinical services, including intakes and therapeutic interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy and crisis intervention.
- Attends and participates in agency staff meetings, treatment plan meetings, and monthly supervision meetings.
Key Experience and Education Needed:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Be certified or licensed in the state of KY (CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT)
- Professional level of knowledge of mental health and 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward clients and staff
