Position Description:
We are looking for a motivated mid-level Software Engineer to be the software product owner for LTC’s suite of desktop product applications for inspection, analysis, and data reporting. Responsibilities will include development of new desktop applications, as well as continuous improvement of existing products. This position requires a flexible and energetic individual who thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment. This is an in-office position.
The position is expected to include:
- Development of new desktop applications, front and backend
- Validation of embedded data processing modules in C#
- Development and improvement of data acquisition controls
- Development and optimization of database interfaces and processes
- Enhancing product user interfaces
- Hands-on software debugging while operating multi-axis delivery mechanisms and robotic devices.
- Support of system-level test and integration of instrumentation, including mechanical positioning mechanisms, sensors, and control software
- System software troubleshooting & development
- Troubleshooting of customer software issues
- Backlog upkeep
- Microcontroller firmware development
- Software process ownership
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in software development
- Full-stack desktop development experience on new products
- Strong working knowledge in C# and javascript/PHP
- Familiarity with WPF, MVVM, and XAML/Xamarin
- Familiarity with database structures/processes and large dataset processing
- Highly motivated, self-reliant, innovative, and efficient
- Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of Scrum development methodology

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
