Position: Sales Lead + Office Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead + Office Manager to join our team. This hybrid role requires a high performer with a proven track record in both sales and management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and be technologically savvy. This position plays a key role in driving sales, managing daily operations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. We are looking for a candidate with experience in family-owned jewelry store operations specifically.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Drive sales performance by leading and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Excel in lead management and customer relations
Office Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for the team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping, correspondence, and reporting.
- Use project management software to stay organized in priorities.
Team Leadership:
- Train, mentor, and develop sales associates to reach their full potential.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage scheduling and store coverage.
- Address and resolve any employee issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers in-store, via phone, and online to provide personalized service.
- Assist with special orders, custom jewelry designs, repair inquiries and services.
- Handle customer complaints and returns with a focus on satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and management roles, within the jewelry industry. 5 years experience at minimum preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technologically savvy, with proficiency in Google Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems, project management software and general e-commerce.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability.
- Motivated problem solver, this role will require an individual with a decisive, driven attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
