Our privately-held restaurant group seeks an experienced, dedicated, self-starting multi-unit Director of Operations to lead our team at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). As the Director of Operations, you set the tone for the team, providing enthusiasm, training staff, offering ongoing feedback, taking corrective actions, and recognizing achievements. You embody excellence in execution, leading by example to create memorable experiences for our customers.
You directly influence the company s success by managing the restaurant s financial performance, hiring and training employees, working on staff scheduling, and supporting both kitchen and front-of-house staff. You're flexible and able to understand all aspects of your operations, from cooking to cashiering to busing a table up to strategy and planning, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in when needed. You make your team and your job a priority. You're comfortable with all types of people and can communicate well with staff, vendors, Port of SEA leadership, and senior leaders.

Working at Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEATAC) requires that all employees pass a background check and follow security protocols.
KEY DUTIES
- Adhere to all food safety standards and procedures, perform food safety checks, and ensure our food is at its best.
- Be a consistent presence in the restaurants, working all shifts at times to understand customer flow, trends, and staff needs.
- Ensure safety, security, and proper cash handling procedures are met.
- Manage sales, labor, and cost forecasts and solve problems when scheduling conflicts arise.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and reward staff.
- Exemplify what it means to create a truly exceptional customer experience.
- Monitor store cleanliness, food safety and quality, and customer service to ensure they meet or exceed standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
- Order, receive, and track inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2+ years GM experience or equivalent
- 5+ years of Restaurant Management.
- College Education in Business may substitute a portion of required experience.
- Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving permits are REQUIRED before start of work.
