A Macayo Busser is responsible for supporting both our Front of the House and Back of the House Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
- Clear, clean and reset tables in timely fashion to ensure speed of service
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
- Clean all spills and broken glassware/dishes immediately, use caution signs when necessary
- Ensure availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins and other dining materials
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, tableware, walls, chairs, booths, etc.
- Check and stock bathrooms every 15-30 minutes depending on volume of service
- Maintain running sidework duties per Macayo policy
- Maintain health and safety regulations throughout kitchen and dining areas
- Keep a memorable guest dining experience for all guests as the #1 priority
- Greet guests and answers questions, as necessary
- Assist team members as necessary
- Alert team when guests and/or tables are in need of attention
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
