Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Administrative Director to lead our Reggio Emilia inspired child care program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and will possess the qualifications necessary to serve as a director according to California Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) Title 22 regulations.
Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership in implementing the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach
Oversee day-to-day operations, including administrative tasks and staff management
Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations
Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment that values the voices of children, families, and staff
Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and the community
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff
Requirements:
Qualified director by California Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) standards for Title 22 child care
Previous experience in administration and management, preferably in a child care center
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commitment to creating an environment that reflects the values of respect, collaboration, and inquiry
Ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of children and families
