Guest Relations Representative
The Kress is looking for highly motivated, organized candidates with excellent people skills to serve as guest relations representatives. The guest relations representative will be responsible for providing front desk services to the guests along with additional administrative duties. The guest relations representative will be able to diffuse any conflict with guests in the hotel setting and act as a database for knowledge of downtown Brunswick and surrounding areas.
Guest Service Representative Responsibilities:
● Greet guests upon arrival in a welcoming manner
● Administer check-ins and check-outs for all condo spaces
● Provide front desk services to all guests and clients
● Assign rooms and take care of administrative duties
● Deliver mail, messages and amenities to guests
● Assist guests with luggage
● Process guest payments and refunds when applicable
● Coordinate with with other staff and staff management
● Be a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
● Process meal and beverage requests
● Accommodate general and unique requests from guests
● Ability to diffuse conflict or tense situations with guests and clients
● Coordinating the pickup and delivery of laundry
● Other duties as assigned
Guest Service Representative Requirements:
● High school diploma or GED
● 2+ years of customer service experience
● Must have hotel front desk experience
● Excellent written and verbal communication
● Good time management and organizational skills
● Conflict resolution experience
● Patience and good listening skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
