JOB TITLE: Senior Account Manager
DEPARTMENT: DKES Sales
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager, US West
SUMMARY: The Senior Account Managert demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within a functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the team in all aspects of customer applications engineering in assigned industry vertical. Direct team in the development of the Technical Consultants team’s strategy including: account retention and growth opportunities, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication for assigned business vertical(s).

Assist team in prioritizing retention and audit activities within the assigned industry vertical.

Interface directly with the commercial organization to drive high value solutions leveraging the company portfolio

Serve as a conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how company’s products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer

Build customer relationships and communication at all levels
-
Matrix with existing functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives

Successfully interface with cross-functional teams as required

Actively participate in community events with the customer
Core Qualifications:
-
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, or Chemistry, or in any related discipline from an accredited college or university

At least 10 years of experience in direct technical sales (Chemical Sales, Oil & Gas, Downstream).
Eligibility Requirements:

Ability and willingness to travel within territory, as required
-
Ability and willingness to reside in assigned region, or within customer proximity requirements, as required
-
Ability and willingness to work at offshore facilities, including the use of personal safety equipment, travel to and from platforms by boat or helicopter, and exposure to noise and chemicals.

Ability and willingness to comply with stringent drug testing and background check requirements set by customer safety requirements, as required

Ability and willingness to comply with stringent customer site(s) access requirements, as required

Basic Computer Skills including MS Office, and other software programs within a Windows environment
