Job Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse and Registered Nurse are responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents. Such care must be delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services designee.

LVN Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Consult with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.
- Perform administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
- Review care plans daily to verify that appropriate care is being rendered.
LVN Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws,
LVN Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a LVN in California.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

$35-$45 for LVNs
