Job Description: As an F&I Specialist/Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in driving success for automotive dealerships by training their staff to increase production and efficiency in the F&I department. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive training sessions, implementing best practices, and providing ongoing support to ensure dealership staff achieve and exceed their financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site training sessions at automotive dealerships to educate staff on F&I processes, compliance regulations, and sales techniques.
- Develop customized training programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each dealership.
- Train dealership staff on effective customer communication, objection handling, and negotiation strategies to optimize F&I performance.
- Provide guidance and support to F&I managers and staff to help them achieve individual and departmental targets.
- Implement performance tracking systems and provide regular feedback to dealership management on progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in automotive finance and insurance.
- Collaborate with dealership management to develop action plans and strategies for improving F&I performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for dealership staff on all aspects of F&I operations.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company with integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in automotive finance and insurance, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of F&I processes, products, and compliance regulations.
- Experience training and coaching dealership staff to improve F&I performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Proficiency in using F&I software and other industry tools.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Additional Requirements:
- Current track record of achieving $2500 per vehicle retail in finance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various dealership locations.
