The Role:
The Senior Operations Manager provides leadership, knowledge and guidance to managers, supervisors and associates engaged in order fulfillment. This will ensure accuracy of orders filled, inventory, and a productive team of associates, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
What You'll Do:
· Member of the Operations Team with responsibility for the day to day tactical decisions that impacts customer service and cost.
· Provides leadership guidance to build a team of Managers, Supervisors and associates to achieve departmental objectives.
· Analyzes all phases of the operation on an ongoing basis to insure maximum accuracy, service and productivity.
· Establishes departmental goals and work procedures.
· Prepares seasonal budgets and plans for hiring and training of hourly associates.
· Responsible for maintaining and enforcing safe working conditions and good housekeeping within the department.
· Maintains schedules and deadlines for all phases of the work being performed.
· Monitors training of associates.

What You've Done:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management in a distribution environment
· Proven track record of providing leadership and motivation to a large group of associates
· Demonstrate ability to handle multiple high priority tasks, working within deadlines and strong sense of urgency
· Excellent analytical and decision making skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent presentation skills
· Proficient with computer applications including; MS Word, MS Excel, Lotus Notes.
· Outstanding customer service skills that demonstrate a willingness and ability to exceed client expectations
· Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate, train and provide guidance to others
· Ability to work without close supervision
· Ability to make sound judgments and follow through actions
· Willingness to work in a team atmosphere
· Ability to prioritize tasks while remaining flexible
· Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
