Our Newest Opportunity:
The Benefits Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our small business clients through proactive communication and strategic client management. Candidates must live in city where majority of book is located or surrounding areas and have the ability to work from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Successfully and strategically service and maintain assigned book of business;

Grow book of business through cross-sale opportunities;
-
Serve in an advisory capacity for clients;
-
Manage the entire renewal process;
-
Conduct needs analysis and mid-year strategy call;
-
Conduct enrollment meetings and other face-to-face visits, for approved cases;
-
Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options;
-
Assist client with 5500 form filings, as applicable;
-
Build relationships with clients through proactive communications;
-
Communicate and educate clients on latest trends, concerns and changes in the industry;
-
Complete assignments as assigned by manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Strong attention to detail;

Must be self-motivated and disciplined;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Strong organizational skills;

Ability to manage one's workload;

Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
Education, Training and Experience:
-
Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm a must;
-
Current life and health insurance license, required;
-
Up to date and knowledgeable on Health Care Reform;
-
Familiarity and practical knowledge of quoting process and tools;
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in account management in a consultative role.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with database applications;
-
Knowledge of health and ancillary products;
-
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
