Position: Line Cook / Server
Hours: Full-Time or Part Time
Wage:
Staff 1 (cook/server in training): $17.25/hr + service charge with guaranteed wage of $23.00/hr including base pay, overtime pay, and service charge
Staff 2 (trained cook/server): $17.25/hr + service charge with guaranteed wage of $25.00/hr including base pay, overtime pay, and service charge
Staff 3 (lead cook/server): $18.00/hr + service charge with guaranteed wage of $27.00/hr including base pay, overtime pay, and service charge
Staff 4 (floor/kitchen shift lead): $19.00/hr + service charge with guaranteed wage of $29.00/hr including base pay, overtime pay, and service charge
Kedai Makan is a full service Malaysian restaurant and bar. We are hiring a line cook/server with the potential for advancement to lead positions. Restaurant experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Experience with saute, fryer, grill, noodles is helpful. We have a culture that encourages cross-training between front of house and kitchen roles. Experience in both customer service and kitchen or willingness to learn is what we are looking for.
