Job Description: Part-Time Program Facilitator

Summary: The Part-Time Program Facilitator is an integral part of the TotalLink to Community team and is responsible for the facilitation, coordination, and support of the educational and social programs in accordance with the mission and vision. Reporting to the Program Director, the Facilitator leads and instructs program strategies to deliver educational and social programs to meet the needs and wants of the young adults and their families. The Part-Time Program Facilitator also provides program support with supporting program logistics including supplies, room set-up, communication with family and collaboration with the Director to find subs when needed. The Part-Time Program Facilitator works with the Program Director, office support, Executive Director, and contracted facilitators to execute their role. Occasionally, The Facilitator may support the employment team with job coaching.
Overview: The Part-Time Program Facilitator is responsible for leading and supporting the educational and social programs and family workshops to support TotalLink to Community. This includes teaching program curriculum, supporting participants in programs, collaborating with other facilitators, communicating with families, collecting program data, preparing program materials, and coordinating program supplies. The Part-Time Program Facilitator is an ambassador to TotalLink and is instrumental in stewarding community partnerships and building community.
Responsibilities:
Adheres to all TotalLink policies and procedures.
- Facilitation of Programs and Services 65% of time

- Facilitate and teach educational and social programs.
- Support participants with self-advocacy, learning, and program participation.
- Facilitate a sense of community among program participants and inspire problem-solving and cooperation.
- Build supportive relationships with participants with an emphasis on serving as a role model.
- Adapt materials and curriculum for each learner.
- Use program curriculum.
- Ensure program quality and consistency through mentorship and collaboration with the Program Director, Executive Director, and office support.
- Support Program Logistics 27% of time
- Communication with young adults, their families, and the community about programs and services.
- Maintain the young adult and family database and collaborate with staff to ensure confidential and accurate updates.
- Support program set-up, distributing supplies, organization, content, and other support needs.
- Provide contract program facilitators adult learning styles, support needs and goals.
- Job Coaching 3% of time
- As needed: Support job seeker in their job at their workplace
4. Community Development 5% of time
- Serve as a key ambassador and representative of TotalLink to Community demonstrating an exceptional and compelling articulation of our mission, vision, and impact.
- Support TotalLink’s social media in collaboration with the team.
- Include and collaborate with program volunteers and various community members.

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age.
- 1-2 years of experience providing programs and services in the area of education, special education, and or human services.
- Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals within and outside of TotalLink.
- Willing to complete background check.
- Proof of vaccination against Covid-19.
- Demonstrate excellence in verbal, written, and project management skills.
- Must possess a high level of energy and a can-do attitude.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work competently and efficiently in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to use Google Tools, Word, and comfort with technology.
- Thrives on a highly collaborative culture.
- Demonstrate passion for the mission and vision of TotalLink to Community.
- Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact amid clients, stakeholders, and diverse groups.
- Resource and budget conscious.

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.63.
This role is 20 hours per week, including Friday nights and Saturdays.
