General Summary
Pathways.org is seeking an experienced App product manager to help manage the Pathways.org mobile app and help in the creation and management of the Pathways.org web app. This role will involve a vast amount of responsibilities including product ideation, user research, feature prioritization, design and prototyping, development coordination, launch, and post-launch monitoring.
This person should be creative, energetic, and self-motivated. The role will work closely with various members of the Pathways.org team, developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality product that helps distribute Pathways.org’s high-quality information on children’s development.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and developers to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize product features and functionality
- Effectively communicate progress, outcomes, and recommendations to executives through clearly written reporting
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our mobile app that aligns with company goals and market trends.
- Champion the user experience by conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to continuously improve app usability, performance, and satisfaction.
- Analyze key metrics and performance data to measure the success of mobile app initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Lead the launch of new app features and updates, coordinating with marketing and communications teams to drive user adoption and engagement.
- Provide regular updates and communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Assess the needs for improvement, test prototype, and provide insights
- Manage routine updates, new installations, and fixes as needed.
- Develop strategic plans to ensure success of the application in four key areas: user experience, engagement, loyalty, and retention.
- Content management – ensure the information live on platform reflects the most up-to-date information.
- Serve as a marketing contact to corporate owned and franchise store operators; provide training for new employees and store owners.
- Continuously monitor system performance to ensure smooth user experience, respond to any service inquiries and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Pathways.org is seeking a self-started with an entrepreneurial spirit who can help create and optimize content.
Reporting Relationships
Reports directly to Director of Digital Strategy
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- 4+ years experience in mobile/web application development and management
- Proven track record and deep understanding of Google Play and Apple App store requirements, compliance, and navigating app store approvals and remediating app rejections
- Experience with mobile app analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies
- Familiarity with design thinking principles and UX/UI best practices
- Passion for mobile technology and a drive to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Able to present concepts clearly and accurately and to keep others informed
- Basic understanding of web analytics, pay-per-click advertising , and SEO best practices
- Self-starting, capable of working independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a fast-paced team
- Organized and able to prioritize projects and meet multiple deadlines
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
