Schedule is Monday through Thursday 12pm to 8pm and Friday 8am to 4pm

Qualifications:
1. Experience in office setting, school setting, outside and inside sales experience and/or experience in the Admissions Department of an educational institution preferred
2. Valid driver’s license
3. Able to work effectively with diverse populations
4. Must possess a significant level of interpersonal and communication skills
5. Must be able to lead, communicate, relate and/or interact effectively with others
6. Possess strong technical and computer skills
7. Experience with time and project management
8. Strong organization skills and attention to detail
9. Good attendance and high moral character
10. Must be accurate, efficient, and capable of handling detailed work assignments and data
11. Pass BCI and FBI records check and/or other district pre-employment requirements
12. The employee may not be under the influence of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District
Essential Functions:
Some essential functions may include any of the following tasks:
1. Serve as the first face of Portage Lakes Career Center and represent the school with professionalism and honesty while providing exceptional customer service
2. Maintain and update files, assist with mailings, prepare rosters, handle calls, assist with transcript requests, etc.
3. Assist in the planning and implementation of various admissions-related and adult education events and activities
4. Coordinate all phases of office operations for adult education programs including entering requisitions, deposits, and tuition payments to in-house systems
5. Utilize Achademix and/or other programs extensively for student account creation, record keeping, verifying and reconciling disbursements, and other purposes
6. Keep active record of employer contacts and job postings to distribute to faculty
7. Assist with data compilation, entry, and reporting to various entities
8. Act as additional layer of checks and balances for financial aid reporting acting as the secondary DPA for Department of Educations
9. Prepare all student orientation folders, student data packets, program certificates and passports
10. Create and distribute ID badges for district
11. Prepare transcripts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
