We are a group of 45+ mental health professionals skilled in the practice of individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. We specialize in perinatal and reproductive mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, sexual challenges, and relationships. Staff Psychotherapist - Chicago, IL ; Oak Park, IL or fully remote (must be a resident of IL)
We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time licensed psychotherapist: licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed social worker (LSW), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or licensed marital and family therapist (LMFT). The psychotherapist can choose to apply to work in our main location in Chicago, IL (River North) or in our satellite location in Oak Park, IL. The work hours include 2 days of providing in-person services at the office and 3 days of working from home. We will also consider applicants who wish to work fully remotely as long as they reside in Illinois.

Psychotherapy at Wildflower is grounded in empirically-based modalities and theories as well as focus on learning and clinical collaboration to provide the highest quality of attuned, empathic care. We serve individuals, couples, and families and center our practice on these key areas: perinatal and reproductive mental health, mood and anxiety, trauma, sexuality, and relationships. The position is an excellent opportunity for a mental health professional who wishes to further develop specialized expertise in the above areas, is self-directed, serious about ongoing learning, and has great communication and organizational skills.
Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule that includes three evenings per week OR Tuesday-Saturday schedule that includes two evenings per week.
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold Master’s degree or higher in social work, professional counseling, clinical psychology or marital and family therapy and must be licensed as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist OR become licensed within 3 months from the start date
- At least 1 year of full-time postgraduate experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
- Must have experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating emotional disorders in an outpatient setting, and must be passionate about ongoing learning. Demonstrated experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Dialectical Behavior Therapy/Acceptance and Commitment Therapy OR reproductive mental health/sex therapy/trauma therapy/couples therapy. Additionally, must have interest in developing further expertise in the above areas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively, sensitively, and professionally with clients and professional community

Other
Clinician would be expected to provide psychotherapy services to a diverse caseload, averaging 23 client sessions per week. This includes primarily working with individuals but also some couples.
