Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Crisis Specialist to conduct phone and mobile crisis services, including triage assessment and crisis interventions.
Schedule Details: Part Time - Overnights
Program: Valley Creek Crisis Center
Location: Exton, PA
Job Functions:
- Conduct effective crisis assessments, triage, and stabilization.
- Provide clinical level-of-care evaluations.
- Conduct telephone crisis counseling to determine appropriate interventions.
- Participate in mobile outreach in a variety of community settings.
- Conduct appropriate aftercare follow-up contacts.
- Collaborate with community partners.
- Provide service referrals and linkage as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery.
- Provide timely supporting documentation for all clinical services provided.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Crisis Specialist - Masters degree in clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, addictions OR BA degree and 5 years of experience. Crisis Counselor - Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Experience in a behavioral health setting, including experience with crisis assessment, triage, intervention, and community resources/systems.
Licensure/Certification: Licensure and/or certification preferred.
Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
Compensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
