Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential counseling services to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' needs-
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create effective intervention strategies
- Provide special education support for students with diverse learning needs-
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive student behavior
- Offer cultural diversity counseling to support students from various backgrounds
- Assist in academic advising to help students achieve their educational goals
- Manage conflicts and disputes among students in a constructive manner
- Utilize childcare and classroom management skills to create a safe and nurturing environment
- Apply knowledge of childhood development to address students' developmental challenges
Skills:
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques
- Experience in special education practices
- Strong behavior management skills
- Knowledge of cultural diversity counseling approaches
- Background in social work or related field is beneficial
- Ability to provide effective academic advising
- Proficient in conflict management strategies
- Experience in childcare or classroom settings is advantageous
- Understanding of childhood development principles
