Established in 2001, Activekidz & Adult Therapy is a privately owned clinic offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our multidisciplinary approach allows our therapists to work together to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.

Activekidz has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. In this role you will assess movement dysfunction from illness, injury, and neurological disorders and develop a treatment plan to improve range of motion, broaden flexibility, and manage pain.

Responsibilities Will Be:
- Screen and assess patient’s neurological deficits, orthopedic injuries, and gross motor delays using medical evaluations, clinical observation, family and caregiver stated routines and observations, and standardized testing
- Establish a unique and well-developed plan of care designed to help patients improve motion and moderate pain
- Provide therapeutic intervention; recommend strategies and activities to supplement care between sessions
- Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers in the home care program including activities, exercises, and equipment
- Monitor patient’s progress and adjust therapeutic intervention as necessary
- Maintain thorough notes and documentation related to patient’s care
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate Degree in Specified Discipline
- Valid Georgia license
- Demonstrated experience (rotations, previous positions)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, parents, and peers
- Ability to develop rapport quickly to build trusted relationships with clients and parents
