FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for member marketing of the Credit Union products, which includes a knowledge of all services offered to a degree that will enable answering questions, or referring members for specific services.
- Responsible for understanding privacy and servicing regulations, and performing job functions with high moral standards due to the handling of personal financial documents and private data.
- Execute loan servicing functions for commercial & residential loans, including but not limited to: loan disbursements, payment processing, auto transfer creations, adjustable rate monitoring, insurance & tax tracking, quoting and processing payoffs, and maintenance of servicing records.
- Preparation of modifications, subordinations, and release documents.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate GL records, and sending invoices to Accounting for payment.
- Assist with data input & annual reporting for HMDA and HMDA compliance reviews.
- Responsible for maintaining a checklist, appropriate file stacking order, and tickler system for follow up on UCC filings, HELOC Draw Periods/Extensions, Rate Changes, pertinent changes to loans which require manual adjustments, mortgage document recordings, security assignments, etc.
- Assist with escrow account monitoring and analysis, to include providing back-up for annual escrow reviews.
- Maintain current knowledge of secondary market documentation requirements for selling loans.
- Assist Servicing Supervisor with preparing proper and timely delivery of closed loans to investors.
- Provide assistance to servicing staff as necessary, to include answering phones, resolving direct member questions or disputes, covering the reception area and greeting members as needed.
- Responsible for processing disbursements requests on construction loans, lines of credit and draw loans as needed.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE POSITION
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Crystal Reporter, Symitar, and Adobe Reader.
- Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent with college level courses desirable.
- Minimum Experience: Three years minimum mortgage servicing preferred or other related experience with an emphasis in real estate, title, or accounting. Familiar with, or the ability to quickly adapt to, Microsoft Office, Symitar, is necessary. Experience with servicing, loan finance, business administration, and/or accounting skills is desired.

Must have high degree of self-motivation, accuracy, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work well under pressure and against deadlines. Must be able to accept direction from and seek counsel of supervisor as needed. Must have a good oral and written communication skills and be able to work effectively with people of varying levels of education, experience, and background. Must be service oriented, friendly and professional in appearance and presentation. Must be willing to assist other personnel as needed. Must be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm with good computer literacy in word processing and have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, and calculator. Must have excellent analytical and member service skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work with others, and be a team player. This is a fast-paced environment, being able to handle pressure and changing situations are also useful traits.
- Working Conditions: Continuous alertness, precision, and concentration to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of documents and transactions. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery.
- This position may require extended or irregular hours. Continuous standing and/or sitting for long periods of time when providing member services or performing other duties related to the position.Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting or kneeling to reach supplies on ground level. Continuous use of hands in repetitive tasks such as simple grasping, twisting/turning of wrist; finger dexterity to perform various accounting duties such as a ten-key calculator, typing, and entering data into the computer system.
