We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant kitchen. In either our Windham location, Portland location, or both! Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and specials
- Monitor food quality and consistency to meet customer expectations
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
- Strong experience in BOH food service
- Meat smoking knowledge is not required but appreciated
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
