Chaparral Boats, Inc and Robalo Boats, LLC are looking for a highly motivated individual who proves to be accurate, thorough, confidential, and possesses strong organizational skills. This individual will work alongside the Payroll Manager to assist with the payroll process on a weekly basis, as well as, perform other administrative duties and special projects. This position requires that the payroll assistant must be reliably present to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and other hours as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Efficiently use payroll software
- Examine electronic timesheets to ensure their accuracy

Communicate with supervisors to confirm that timesheets are approved and employees are compensated accurately

Meet all payroll deadlines

Distribute hard copy pay stubs

Generate, format, and distribute weekly reports

Perform month-end duties, as instructed

File and maintain organized electronic time keeping files

Support other departments with administrative needs, as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 plus years of administrative/payroll experience. Bookkeeping/Accounting experience preferred.

Knowledge of general HR practices and procedures

Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and phone systems

Possess a passion for numbers and the capability of calculating time worked schedules, on a weekly basis
