SUMMARY
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other building systems, in all Lakeside locations, as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (applies to all Lakeside locations):

Assesses equipment and facility needs and creates plan to ensure all are functional to the expectations of the Plant Manager and CEO.

Responsible for all facilities maintenance and managing all contractors on site.

Creates preventative maintenance schedule for facilities and manages team’s assignments accordingly to ensure optimal performance.

Creates and implements preventative maintenance schedule for production.

Required to perform maintenance tasks when necessary.

Manages Maintenance staff, to include performance evaluation, accountability to expectations, discipline and termination as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed, provides action plans and ownership of issues and drives to resolution.

Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.

Responsible for all Lakeside Surfaces location’s facility maintenance.

Develops maintenance procedures, trains team, and holds them accountable to strong performance.

Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

Excellent management and supervisory skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

College Degree or equivalent experience required.

At least ten years of maintenance experience required.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

Must be able to travel to all Lakeside locations

Must be physically able to perform repairs and maintenance tasks when needed.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
-
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
