**Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and transportation planning, with a focus on price optimization and transportation management systems. Book of Business is preferred. Experience in carrier sales, supply chain, 3PL, EDI, and logistics sales is highly desirable.
**Duties:**
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the transportation industry
- Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and carriers
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize supply chain operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions
**Requirements:**
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
- Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
