Alarin Aircraft Hinge, Inc. is currently seeking a highly detail orientated CNC operator to join our team in Commerce, CA. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Responsibilities:
Our production team heavily depends on the expertise of our CNC operators. The CNC operator is accountable for preparing the machine and executing work instructions for each operation. This involves loading programs, work fixtures, and rotary tooling. The CNC operator has multiple responsibilities, including setting work offsets, producing the first part, and operating the machine as required.
CNC Operators are responsible for ensuring that the first article part meets the requirements defined in the drawing, work instructions, and sample part. Part inspections are conducted using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and common surface plate instruments. In addition, the CNC setup operator is responsible for completing all necessary documentation and scanning in and out of jobs. All machine operators and technicians must perform routine preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean and organized workplace according to 5S best practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in setting up and operating three-axis CNC machining centers in an aerospace environment, using Haas and Fanuc controls. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to read and interpret part drawings, dimensions, and geometric tolerances. The candidate should also be familiar with shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading, and measurement of parts. A basic knowledge of inspection instruments and their proper use is also required.
Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training is preferred.
- Able to lift to 35 pounds when required and stand for long periods.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and have good eye-hand coordination.

- May require additional hours beyond a 40-hour workweek

- Able to maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
