Purpose: The Community Mental Health Quality Assurance Documentation specialist reviews and verifies document records to ensure the documentation complies with regulations and internal quality control practices. As a quality assurance documentation specialist, your primary job is to maintain record archives, reviewing them for accuracy and relevance. You are also responsible for daily communication with LMHP's, LMHP-Types, QMHPs, and other staff as it pertains to documentation compliance, and maintaining excellent compliance of clinical documentation.
The activities associated with the primary responsibility of this position are:
- Daily/Weekly Communication with staff to include QMHP, LMHP, etc for documentation compliance, and missing documentation
- Maintaining Documentation Trackers and Excel Spreadsheet for Compliance
- Quarterly Auditing for each assigned program
- Supervision and Management of QMHP Legal documentation submission
- Risk Management and Quality Improvement Practices
- Staying abreast of State policies and procedures and changes.
- Provide program productivity updates weekly to Executive Director and COO
- Complete weekly productivity and marketing tracking reports.
- Responsible for building relationships weekly in areas that are underserved or in places that need to hear about the services we provide.
- Fill in as needed.
- Assist the program team with other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and COO
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Level Degree in social service, clinical psychology, counseling, public health administration, or a related field or higher preferred but not required
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in mental health services
- QMHP-A or C, or CSAC preferred but not required
- LMHP, LMHP-Type preferred
Salary & Compensation:
- $16-$18 per hour
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30pm
