Set Solutions, a Trace3 company, are seeking a skilled OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team for the next 12+ months and contribute to the protection of our operational technology (OT) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of OT security architecture, identity and access control principles, and segmentation techniques. Familiarity with OT cybersecurity standards such as NIST800-53-82 and IEC62443 is highly desirable. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement OT security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard critical infrastructure assets.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of OT environments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
- Design and deploy security controls for OT systems, including access control mechanisms, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Collaborate with OT engineering teams to integrate security requirements into the design and deployment of new systems and technologies.
- Monitor OT networks and systems for suspicious activity, security incidents, and compliance deviations.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner, following established incident response procedures.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits of OT systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to OT operators and technicians on security best practices and procedures.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies relevant to OT environments.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC) are a plus.
- Proven experience in OT cybersecurity, including a strong understanding of OT security architecture, identity and access control concepts, and network segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as NIST800-53-82 and IEC62443.
- Hands-on experience with OT protocols and technologies (e.g., SCADA, PLC, DCS) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques, network monitoring tools, and SIEM solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to OT environments (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001) is preferred.
