We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Delivery Manager to join our Digital Assets team. This role is located in New York City – HYBRID
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Organize the program governance to accompany product development work by following guidelines established by BNY’s internal governance framework.
- Develop comprehensive program documents and project plans and ensure plans are executed, followed and tracked.
- Provide ongoing program reporting and escalation to stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate closely with teams within the Digital Asset Business (i.e. Product, Platform and Chief Operating Office) to make sure all requirements are understood and well documented.
- Collaborate with teams across the wider BNY organization to make sure all relevant streams and stakeholders are represented and included in our delivery plans.
- Regular stakeholder engagement.
- In connection with Public Policy and Government Affairs, interact indirectly or directly with the Bank’s regulatory bodies to make sure all regulatory requirements are met for the Digital Asset Business and its products.
- Guide initiatives from inception all the way through to delivery to the final product offered to our clients.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- A strong communicator and project/ program manager with experience managing and large multi-disciplinary programs in financial services, ideally with digital asset expertise.
- External regulatory engagement experience, ideally with experience participating in meetings with bank regulators.
- Collaborative, creative, open-minded individuals with a learner’s mindset and energetic approach to new product development with 10+ years of professional experience in the financial services and/or digital asset industry.
- Graduates of bachelor’s degree programs in business, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Solid understanding of the regulatory environment of a Global Systemically Important Bank and digital assets.
- Client-centrists with capital markets, financial services, and digital assets domain expertise.
- Adaptability to highly dynamic and collaborative work environments.
- 10+ years of total work experience with at least 5 years in management preferred.
- Project Management experience essential.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $147,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
