Summary Description:
As part of the Disney Lorcana Global Community Team, you will lead ideation and operation of Disney Lorcana training and incentives programs, manage TCG staffing for Disney Lorcana competitive events and trade shows. This role reports directly to the Global Organized Play Manager and works with various global marketing teams.
The ideal candidate is a Disney fan with plenty of trading card game judge and ambassador program design or operation experience.
Hours : Full Time
Location: Hybrid position located in the Seattle, Washington (US) office with 3 days/week in-office minimum
Reporting: The Organized Play Program Specialist - Disney Lorcana reports to the Global Head of Organized Play -Disney Lorcana
Managing: The Organized Play Program Specialist position has 0 direct reports
Duties & Responsibilities
· Execute day-to-day tasks that include but are not limited to retailer and player inquiries, updating public facing and internal documentation, managing judge testing, communications with third party staffing
· Manage database of judges, demo staff, tournament organizers, and other types of event staff and ambassadors
· Play key role in organized play program ideation and strategy, being able to provide realistic suggestions along with a proper understanding of execution and budgeting
· Stay current on Disney Lorcana TCG sets, while maintaining a strong understanding of how upcoming sets can affect the overall judging process, knowledgebase, and new-player/retailer onboarding
· Stay mindful of project deadlines to allow sufficient lead times for other departments and licensor
· Manage staff during official events and insure they adhere to brand standards
· Attend trade and consumer shows as well as organized play and fan events
· Be willing to adjust work hours within reason
· Organize and maintain communication with Organized Play community
Knowledge & Experience
· 3+ years of TCG Organized Play experience
· Extensive TCG knowledge and experience as both a player and a judge required
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Prior experience working with a licensed project a plus
