Job Summary
Provide individual personal coaching and career counseling for honors students.
- Serve as primary counselor for honors students, following
each student through academic career at the university
- Assist students in identifying barriers to personal,
academic, and career success and coach them in formulating plans to positively address them
- Promote personal wellness, self-care, and a positive
self-concept
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Degree in Counseling
Experience with assessment administration and interpretation,
listening, reflection, coaching, educating, knowledge of when to refer to mental health resources, strong interpersonal skills,
knowledge of student development, service orientation,
problem-solving.
