We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our highly successful and supportive dental practice. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in dental procedures, including making temporary crowns, finishing up after the doctor to facilitate multitasking, and maintaining efficiency in a busy environment.
- Manage patient flow and support two doctors, two hygienists, two assistants, and the front desk team.
- Perform physical and digital impressions, and handle a full set of X-rays.
- Utilize Dexxus/Dentrix for managing paper charts; assist in charting as directed by the doctor.
- Uphold our high standards of patient care and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout procedures.
Schedule:
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 or 3:00 PM close
- Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM close
- Friday: Closed
- No weekends
Requirements:
- Experience in dental assisting, particularly in making temporary crowns and assisting with a variety of dental procedures.
- Proficiency with Dexxus/Dentrix or similar software for managing paper charts.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with 7 to 8 patients per day.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
