Responsible for coordination of various professional coding and audit team functions/processes, as well as administrative support of a diversified nature for the Director and Management team of the Professional Coding, Auditing and Education Team.
Education
High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
Experience
Requires 2 year of related experience, experience in hospital/healthcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Specialized training and continued competency in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Requires excellent communication skills. Good judgment and organizational ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet daily demands, as well as respond to urgent situation.
Analytical ability to consolidate department data, utilize word processing, dictation equipment, spreadsheet and databases.
Interpersonal skills requiring social sensitivity in order to explain department procedures recognize critical calls, etc.
Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing clerical duties.
This is a fully remote 40 hour/week position.
