Overview:
We are seeking a pediatric speech language pathologist to join our growing insurance based private pediatric practice. We pride ourselves in providing quality one-on-one services through consistent direct contact with our clients, their families, and the community support system to maximize treatment outcomes.

Specific Job Tasks:
- Documentation to support evaluation and treatment of clients including but not limited to: Evaluation writing, Goal writing, Letters of medical necessity, Treatment notes, Re-evaluations, Screenings, Plan of Care
- Schedule and promote ongoing services twice per week for best therapy results: Best effort to reschedule all missed appointments by promoting positive therapy outcomes
- Clinicians are responsible to all clients receiving services at Chesapeake Speech Language Associates, are expected to work as a team for scheduling purposes, and to jump in if a client is in need of services.
- Following all HIPAA rules and regulations while accessing and referencing PHI.
- Managing client diagnosis codes
- Discontinuing and applying appropriate diagnosis codes
- Routinely clean/disinfect room, therapy materials, toys and games, desk.
- Communicate with other providers when necessary for the best therapeutic outcome
- Enroll and re-attest as necessary with CAQH
Qualifications:
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program, for fully licensed SLPs: Maryland State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency
Salary amounts are for base salaries only. Additional income can be earned by meeting established weekly bonuses. Details discussed during interview process.
