RESPONSIBILITIES Meeting with customers Advising customers of delayed or late orders Managing sales order (SO) and invoice entries Keeping track of production timelines Proactive communication with customers Monitoring all open, due, and late orders Communicating with production and requesting weekly order status updates Keeping track of every order that comes in and ensuring they see every order that goes out Sending weekly emails to distributors about available inventory Preparing weekly reports for larger customers on order status
QUALIFICATIONS 5-10 years of experience in sales and customer service support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in sales order management software Experience with inventory management Ability to work independently and remotely Top 3 critical qualifications: Strong customer service skills Proficiency in managing sales orders and invoices Experience in proactive customer communication
DAY TO DAY Interacting with customers to provide order updates Entering and managing sales orders and invoices Monitoring and tracking production timelines and order statuses Sending weekly inventory emails to distributors Preparing and sending weekly reports to larger customers
CHALLENGES Managing customer expectations regarding order delays Ensuring timely communication with production and customers Keeping track of multiple orders simultaneously
REPORTING STRUCTURE Reports to Supply Chain Director and Co-Founders
TEAM Small team of 5-7 members, including sales and customer service representatives
