Description
Our Saint Paul Splash Plant is looking for Operators/Tech to be responsible for the safe and
efficient operation of our Blow Molding machines. This position requires the ability to adjust,
monitor, and perform minor maintenance on Blow Molding and Trimmer machinery to
ensure quality products are made.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Run blow molding machinery while making appropriate machinery adjustments as needed
to ensure final product is within quality specifications.
Monitor product quality including bottle weight and neck finishes via visual inspection and
quality measurement.
Ensure safety standards and expectations are met at all times.
Comply with all company policies & procedures.
Able to work in other areas depending on labor requirements to help maximize productivity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Experience with extrusion blow molding, plastic extrusion, plastic injection.
Must understand plastic extrusion process, and have had at least one-year experience in
operating a blow molding machine.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
Ability to relay information to maintenance staff for repairs.
Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to handle a fast pace and sometimes hectic work environment.
Must be able to handle shop temperatures that can reach or exceed 100 degrees
Fahrenheit.
Effective verbal communication skills. Bi-Lingual a plus. (English/Spanish)
Ability to complete written documentation and use Apps such Red Zone and CCMS
Ability to work as a team and cooperate with other blow molders.
Ability to visually inspect product as well as complete quality measurements.
Ability to work safely and maintain safety expectations.
