We are seeking a detail-oriented receptionist/ Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of patient records
- Perform preliminary testing on patients, such as visual acuity, intraocular pressures and retinal photography.
- Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized equipment
- Maintain inventory of contact lens and supply.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in an optical or medical office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in computers is helpful.
-Prior knowledge is not necessary as we will provide on the job training.
- Familiarity with phone systems and administrative tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
