Reporting to the senior director of corporate marketing, this position creates proposals, presentations, marketing materials, social media content, and corporate communications materials; coordinates miscellaneous events and provides related marketing support-all of which requires writing, research, data gathering and execution. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

BS/BA in Communications, Journalism or related field;

3-5 years of experience in construction or other professional services industry such as engineering or architecture;

Demonstrated experience in coordinating and assembling high-quality materials;

Strong understanding of brand management and ability to produce high quality/effective marketing collateral and communication;

Experience in developing content and preparing packages for presentations, proposals, marketing brochures and similar documents;

Experience using Adobe Suite programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat);
-
Proficient in the use of various MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;

Knowledge of alternative presentation software, such as Prezi;

Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce;
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task; Excellent written communication skills- -able to prepare effective and concise documents free of grammatical and spelling errors; and

Outstanding verbal communication skills, able to comfortably communicate across a diverse population of colleagues, clients and community partners.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the research and implementation of business development and marketing plans.

Prepare proposal responses for RFQs and RFPs, including coordinating with the pursuit team, content creation, copywriting, proofreading and timely delivery.

Assist with the preparation of interviews, including presentation creation, handout materials and interview practices.

Update and maintain proposal templates, resumes, project descriptions and project photography.

Maintain CRM database (Salesforce), including, but not limited to updating opportunity/account/contact information, proposal/interview status, attaching related documents, etc.

Assist in the coordination of and participate in community/professional organization and promotional events including luncheons, mixers, meetings, tradeshows, client outings, etc.

Assist in content creation for social media posts, email campaigns, press releases, etc.

Assist in the copywriting, proofreading and editing of marketing materials for internal and external communication pieces.

Ensure project related information (articles, presentations to clients/contacts/conferences, etc.) are organized, stored and accessible on the server and database.

Liaise with other Clancy & Theys offices and projects.

Coordinate with and support corporate marketing efforts as required.
