The Poo-sition Overview:
As TUSHY's Associate Director, Sales Channel Expansion, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach to new customers. This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand TUSHYs category-creating portfolio, crafting TUSHY's retail & wholesale strategy, selling into new retailers, and driving the profitable achievement of our sales objectives. You will be results oriented, focusing on sales goals and initiatives, profitability, and growing brand positions in the marketplace.
This poo-sition is currently remote, butt if you are in the New York City area, there is an opportunity to work on a hybrid schedule in our Dumbo, Brooklyn (NY) office.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote TUSHY and increase brand awareness and visibility

Develop new business relationships with vendors in untapped markets

Identify potential customers and develop a strategy to reach and engage with them

Create and execute TUSHY's sales channel strategy to align with objectives and targeted revenue generation

Possess extensive knowledge of TUSHY products and understanding of features and benefits compared to competitors

Craft and deliver professional sales presentations to potential partners with a tailored approach to fit the needs of the consumer

Manage sales contracts with all potential partners - from small opportunities (e.g. a one-off boutique hotel) to large (e.g. a conglomerate of 100 senior living facilities)

Track and analyze sales performance metrics by retailer
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in a retailer-facing Sales role.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Strong ability to sell & negotiate

Existing relationships with potential external vendors and passion for creatively exploring new vendors/sales opportunities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and partners

Excellent organizational and project management skills, having the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

At TUSHY, we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary for this poo-sition is $120,000-$150,000 USD + commission. We note that salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations.
This annual base salary is one component of TUSHY's total compensation package. The Associate Director, Sales role is eligible to participate in TUSHY's performance bonus initiatives and may be offered other incentives.
